Floods started as a concept.

Floods began with a spark of inspiration from an MS NOW segment about the rise of Myspace, to me being a reminder of how powerful online communities can be when people are given the freedom to create and connect.
That moment stuck with me. I wanted to build something that captured that same energy, but for a new era of creators: a platform where long‑form storytelling and quick, expressive video could live side by side.

The early versions of Floods were… rough. I shared the idea more than once and got my fair share of raised eyebrows and laughs.
But the vision never stopped feeling real to me. I kept refining it, shaping it, and pushing it forward until it became something worth building.

With the help of twelve early testers who believed in the potential of the platform, we stress‑tested every corner of it.
Their feedback, honesty, and patience helped transform Floods from a concept into a living, evolving platform.

Today, Floods exists not only because of persistence, but curiosity, and a driven belief that creators deserve a space built for the way they actually share their stories.
It’s still growing, still improving, and still driven by the same idea that started it all: give people a place where their voice whether long or short, polished or raw can thrive at any opportunity.
