What is Floods?

Floods TV is a social broadcasting service that lets users post their content in community-moderated categories called shores. This way viewers can find the content they actually want to see, and creators get seen by those who are looking for them.

What is Floods revenue model?

Floods is currently free to use. The plan is to introduce ads within communities so advertisers can hyper-locate the appropriate viewers they want to see their ads. If a video takes significant server time, Floods may intermittently add sponsored content midway.

When will Floods be released?

Floods is currently in its early stages, by signing up you can stay updated on early releases and participate in beta testing.

Bonus: What are Community Shores and What are Presidents?

Shores are communities made by members who have joined Floods.

Each shore is moderated by a founder called a president; the president is able to add other moderators under them into the cabinet that governs the bylaws of the community.

Every 2 years, a shore election takes place from which the community elects new moderators, allowing fresh voices to create new user experiences.

Shore moderation is for everyone who makes an account.
